HOLY PEAKKKK🗣

I remember on the last day of my 17 I just sat there and watched the clock turn 12 and I was an adult, nothing changed😂

i turned 18 in jan this year and honestly this is the most relatable piece ever. the only feeling that remained the same is that i thought i was running out of time at 17 and at 18 i still feel the same although i think i should not never feel like this

it is comforting to know im not the only one who felt that way

i think every age believes it's running out of time for something

also thanks for reading !!!!!!!🫶

super insightful, Aafia. there's so many interpretations of 17 and the number resonates with me personally because of two things. when I reached this age it marked an important trajectory shift in my life, I'm sure the same happened with others who have read this. and two, there's an artist by the name of XXXTentacion, he had an album named, "17." it marked a period of darkness in his life and depression, something that resonated with me for years up until now. in doing so he turned his pain into something of passion to provide for the world to ease their tension. it became one of his most popular albums out right now, it still is.

food for thought of course, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. :)

Thank you :)

I haven't listened to the album, but i really liked ur point about 17 being a turning point. I think that's what i was trying to get at too. It's such a weird age where a lot seems to change, even if you don't realize it at the time.

Glad you enjoyed it!!!!!
